The art of tailoring has suffered from a “stuffy” image in the past but as you can see from the friendly faces above, we have turned tailoring into something friendly and fun.Miss Be, a local Hoi An lady started BeBe in a small shop front 15 years ago. Our humble beginnings ment only two staff but a big vision.Long before iPads and smartphones our customers chose thier styles via catalogues.
Word soon spread about our quality and price. a much bigger production area was needed where customers could see thier clothes being tailored
A larger more up to date showroom was also needed. It looked great on opening day, waiting for the customers to come...Australians, British and Canadians where just some nationalities who wanted to get clothes made at a fraction of the price of tailoring in thier home country.Not your average “stuffy” tailor. Fun in the fitting rooms.Even the younger ones where getting suited upOnly the Jacket to go an we are doneOur staff love kids, here is Sarah with one of BeBe’s youngest customersRunning out of space for all the customers we started work on this extension to the main shop.Really beautiful shop and all the space we could need... For now.WIth the largest fabric selection in Hoi An we sure needed the space.Examples on mannequins throughout the shop to show off our tailoring skills. International TV shows started to Visit. Here is Channel 7’s Shane Jolley from Australia.On Dutch primetime TV with four of the nicest famous faces you could wish to meet. Our staff loved them.So delighted were our customers with their tailoring they wanted the ability to order again once they got home. Bebe online was born in response to that.BeBe online offers the same great great quality tailoring at great value compared to other online tailors. Most importantly you know who is actually tailoring your clothes and that the staff are being looked after.We looked into ways for out customers to see how various options like collars, cuffs etc worked with different fabrics. We built our own suit and shirt configurator which we reckon is the best out there.
